It's an Explosive Finale as Northwestern Gets Her Revenge on 'Deadliest Catch' (VIDEO)
After a successful season on 'Deadliest Catch' (Tue., 9PM ET on Discovery), there was only one order of business left for Captain Sig Hansen of the Northwestern. He remembers the Chinese lanterns that freaked him out earlier at the hands of the Time Bandit's crew.So he lures them closer by telling Time Bandit Captain Andy Hillstrand, "We got a little shake in the back there. I don't know what it is."
When the Time Bandit swings around to take a look, Captain Sig and his crew launch a barrage of fireworks at them. The Time Bandit fires back, and the two wind up putting on one of the more impressive fireworks displays we've seen on television. Many cities' July 4th celebrations would be put to shame by the firepower on display.
It was a fitting end to a bittersweet season of 'Deadliest Catch.' We get a final tribute to Captain Phil, everybody comes home safe and we all get to rest easy knowing that Season 8 is already a done deal.
