why would christina ricci take a pay cut tu work on tv?i know tv pays very well but you can't tell me that she is making movie kind of money. SO WHY,WHY,WHY is she doing network tv.i haven't watched network tv since the early 90s not even the news.i get everything i need on a daily basis from the internet .and then there is cable witch is on in my house 24/7 99% of the time on turner classic movies. christina is one of my favs.for the life of me i don't get it.is the part realy that god.well i will have to give the show a watch maybe it will draw me back to network but i doubt it.i will say that i would go to see christina if she was reading the phone book.we'll see.we'll see.if the show is a stiff even with her in it i will not watch it.maybe it will tank and she will go back to the movies. just an fyi whats up with hollywood anyway.when a show is a hit right away the have to do another one.all though 'mad men" is about another thing it is set in the 60s.it is the same thing in the music buisness .oh that is a hit.lets put out 20 more just the same.those the idiot public will anything.guess what madison ave.and hollywood we are not that dumb anymore.thats why you guys change execs like underwaer.the other thing is if a show does'nt pull in the numbers right away you yank off the air.talk about profound stupidity.fyi.when all in the family came on they didn't pull in the numbers.the suits wanted to yank it of the air.but the producers asked for just a littel more time and the rest is history.another great stupidity was the new suit who yanked the beverelly hillbilly's and pettycoat junction,and other shows of the same ilk.what a f--k up that wasand that is what happens over and over again,just an fyi those shows where very high in the ratings and the replacement shows tanked.and that is what the network suits do and that is why network tv stinks big time.maybe this shoe will be different but i hope not because i want christina on the big screen where she belongs..once again i want say that christina ricci is a great actress.christina i wish you well. max
