Valencia will need at least one friend to drive home with after her big win on 'The Price Is Right' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS). Maybe even two, if she drove to the studio herself. Valencia won two cars, plus a few other items, during her game in the first part of the show and then later, her Showcase Showdown.Playing 'Money Game,' Valencia picked the right numbers and won a two-door sedan. Then in the Showcase Showdown, she bid $21,500 on a package with a laptop computer, a virtual assistant, and a four-door sedan. Her opponent Maureen bid $34,000 on a package with iPod Touches, a trip to New York City, a party boat, and $4,000 in spending cash.
Valencia was way off. Her showcase was valued at $29,614, leaving her $8,114 under. But Maureen's showcase was valued at just $21,088, leaving her $12,912 over. Valencia ended up with $51,328 in prizes, and was happy enough to hug one of the cars. You know what they say: You never forget the first car you win on the 'Price Is Right.'
