'Big Brother' Live Eviction, Head of Household Competition (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jul 29th 2011 2:33AM
Daniele Donato, 'Big Brother 13'Before we could get to the live eviction on 'Big Brother' (Thu., 9PM ET on CBS), we had to deal with the fallout of Daniele's master plan to eliminate Jeff coming out into the open.

Eventually, everyone got together for a house meeting to lay it all out there, which was great to see.

Sure, 'Big Brother' is all about closed-door meetings and collusion, but every once in a while it's nice to see a big screaming match so everyone can know where they stand. Unfortunately, though, it looks like Brendon and Rachel's scheming was revealed a bit, if people were paying attention.

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

The problem is, that Daniele has now been painted as Public Enemy No. 1, which may mean everyone assumes everything she says is just scheming. The truth of the matter is, that Shelly's done as much to stir up drama as Daniele did.

Daniele's mistake was in trusting Dominic, who trusted Shelly. They don't know that Shelly was one of the first to turn on their alliance, when she helped send her own partner packing. It should be interesting to see how some of this plays out as the season progresses.

But first, these newbies need to wrest control from the power couple. Actually, it's not even newbies vs. veterans anymore as Daniele is definitely not in with the power four. And Brendon and Rachel play such a two-faced, arrogant game we can't help but smile when Daniele called them out on promising Dominic safety.

Hopefully Adam was listening, as he'd been promised the same thing. Rachel, who can't hide her emotions, called Daniele ridiculous, but looked about ready to cry. It's fine and dandy if everyone's piling on Daniele, because then they're not paying attention to Brendon and Rachel.

Daniele even called them out on being for the plan to eliminate Jeff, and ultimately Jordan, sooner rather than later so they didn't have to deal with that threat later in the game. Again, was anyone paying attention to these crucial statements?

It's going to matter more than ever because partner play is over, the Golden Keys are meaningless, and the next HoH is going to be more important than ever. But first, the only person who stood by Dominic in the voting booth was his ally Daniele.

After Wednesday's episode, I thought Adam's ship was sunk, as Dominic had ingratiated himself beautifully with the veterans. If Daniele hadn't pushed quite so aggressively for Brendon to use the Power of Veto and put up Jeff and Jordan, he might still be there.

As for that HoH competition, viewers of the live feeds or 'Big Brother After Dark' are going to figure out who won it before the rest of America. CBS won't have the winner until Sunday night's episode.
