Matt LeBlanc's Mother Was Startled by His Early Morning Emmy Nomination (VIDEO)

Matt LeBlanc's mother raises a good point. She's been staying at his house and was there the morning the Emmy nominations were announced, and it was a very early morning, according to LeBlanc on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC).Because the calls started coming in at 5:30AM local time for him, he stepped out into the back yard to try and keep from waking his mother, but that didn't work out so well. She poked her head out, thinking it was an earthquake or something.
"No," LeBlanc assured her. "I got nominated for an Emmy."
"So early?" was her reply, and it's a fair question. With so many actors living in California, why are the nominations scheduled for what is essentially still the middle of the night there? Do we like the thought of waking them up with good news to hear their groggy reactions that much?
