Chad Ochocinco took center stage, sort of, on 'Basketball Wives' (Mon., 8PM ET on VH1), showing himself to genuinely be into fiancée Evelyn. He's also pretty clearly into himself and enjoying his negative public image, but she's a part of it.

Their beach picnic was actually quite sweet. Chad was sweet as well, but Evelyn seemed a little reserved and concerned when talking about their high-profile relationship. Yes, there's a certain irony to her saying this while starring in a reality show because of that relationship, but there it is. It can still get uncomfortable inside a self-created bubble.

Chad's comments about his desires to be the most hated athlete of all time are certainly interesting. We could see it as him trying to embrace the cards he's been dealt and have some fun with it as best he can rather than struggle, but it comes across a little off-putting.

Don't worry, it wasn't just us, either. Evelyn isn't so comfortable with those ambitions. It might be fun and games for him to be hated, but she has to be known as the woman who's with the guy everyone hates, and that's not always easy.
