Emma Stone, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Different actors respond differently to their work. Emma Stone falls into the category of people who get uncomfortable watching herself on the screen, along with her 'The Help' co-star Octavia Spencer. This made for an uncomfortable evening, as Stone related on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

When the First Lady of the United States invites you to join her for a screening of your movie, you don't say no. But when she put Stone and Spencer right in the front row, there was no way they could avoid the discomfort of seeing their performances.

One thing that might have helped, but was sorely lacking, was alcohol.

"Maybe for the future, alcohol would be nice, Mrs. Obama," Stone said directly into the camera, tongue planted firmly in cheek.

"Would it kill you to open up the bar?" David Letterman concurred. But do you really want to risk getting drunk in the presence of the First Lady, just because you're uncomfortable? That situation could then get much worse.
