Love can be a competitive, contact sport, especially between friends. So when Fran and Judi spotted a guy they both wanted on Wednesday's 'Happily Divorced' (Wednesdays, 10:30PM on TV Land), they put on the full-court press, taking him away from his friends to talk themselves up.

The man in question was named David, played by Lou Diamond Phillips. Fran and Judi saw him out dancing, and approached him at the same time. Then the negotiations began. David asked Fran what she did for a living, and she said she owned a flower ship. "Yeah, so if you ever want to send me some flowers, she'll give 'em to you half price," said Judi. Fran pointed out they'd be free if David sent them to her.

Judi eventually won out, at least temporarily, and Fran hosted the two of them for a get together with her and Peter. Peter complimented Fran on handling the situation in a mature fashion, seeing how happy David and Judi seemed. "I'm glad I let her have him," she said. But maybe not for long, as David gave her good-bye kiss on the lips as he left. The competition might not be over.
