I hope that GOD punishes Mr .Howell not the children or the adults !
He is the rotten thief who has taken away the heart and soul an ispiration of this telethon !
I hope he falls flat on his face ! i know of several hundreds of people already who will NOT give to this anymore ! so good for you Mr Howell you have to sleep with yourself at night knowing YOU are the reason the children and adults will be suffering because YOU could not let Jerry go out with dignity ! i hope satan haunts you and eats you up when you fall to the pits of HELL !!!

It is sad to read of some folks who won't be giving to MDA this year because they object to the way Jerry has been treated. Why punish the children and adults who would be helped by your donation? There are more than 40 diseases which have benefited from donations. Remember young Matty? What would he think of your actions? There are some very good people who will be appealing to you for your help today. Don't want the show... fine. But do consider giving a donation for Jerry's Kids. Please.

Thank you for your many years of service to wonderful charity. I guess I have to find something new to what over labor day weekend. Not sure why this was decided, but its a huge mistake.

My brother worked for MDA a few years ago and he quit because of the nastiness of Jerry Lewis. He was a loud, foul-mouthed old man who treated people on staff like they were idiots. The reason they took Jerry off is because they can't put a microphone in front of that old crazy man for one minute before he starts ranting or offending everyone with his filthy mouth. MDA is doing him a big favor to not let the public see him like this because it would ruin whatever nice memories anyone has of Jerry. He is a crazy old man who is mean and cruel now. Face it..... we are all better off without him on the MDA Telethon.

NO one can come close to matching Jery's comic ability, He does it HIS way. I only wish he done more late night talk shows, he was funny and interesting. Not like some of these other comic actors. i.e Jim Carey. He's right about woman comics too except Phylss Diller, she's great. Fang!

We LOVE Jerry. When we kids if a Lewis & Martin & later just a Lewis movie at the drive in. We knew we were going and get to go to the snack bar at intermission for pop corn & soda. If we were lucky, the Taj Mahal of treats, BON-BONS. I'm from Jersey just like him Remember Olympic Park?

There is absolutely no question that Jerry Lewis was very successful in raising funds. However, the show is getting really boring with too many old person acts. He is so full of himself which is a complete turn off. They need to finally replace him with someone else. Remember what happened to Bert Parks (Miss America) He too was full of himself and acted cocky on TV just liked Lewis does. Its time to make a necessary change.
