Adam Levine's television career began with a guest spot on 'Saturday Night Live,' and continued with a judging spot on 'The Voice.' Now the Maroon 5 lead singer is adding the "executive producer" title to his TV resume. On 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC) Levine talked about a new sitcom pilot he's working on for NBC, and performed with Maroon 5.Though he was initially reluctant to share details, Matt Lauer got Levine confirm that the pilot had been bought by NBC, and that the show will be set in a karaoke bar. Will Levine appear in the show? "Perhaps," said Levine. "I've not decided yet, Matt Lauer."
Levine was much more loquacious with his band, singing their hit 'Moves Like Jagger.' Maybe we'll see someone singing that to a cheesy backing track on the new show.
