Pia is being "packaged" just like dozens of other want-to-be stars with the same over-synthesized music, lyrics and beat. That will be a mistake I think. One of the best things about her is her strong voice. Her material should emphasis her voice with her voice being the main draw . The background music should not be so dominate. Think about how Jackie Evancho sounds on her CD "Dream With Me"....a smooth clear voice, with a beautiful and lush orchestral arrangement behind her. Who would you rather listen to?

They can try and try to make her a star, but I don't think it is going to happen. She is attractive and has an okay voice, but she lacks a charisma and because of that she will just have a so so career like many of the American Idol contestants over the past eleven years. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have done well because they have a likeability factor. It was so strange how once the people watching the show voted her off, the producers started immediately promoting her and planning her CD. What was she number 8 voted off? I think the fans of American Idol spoke loudly on the prospects of her being a winner.

That's interesting no background singing? Pia is good enough to sing her own backgrounds and the lead at the same time--sounds great I can hear the ending--sounds cool!

I started out watching this show and love the talent. However, I stopped because I could not stand Mary whatshername screaming. That goes right through me. Yes, I am older but I love young people, love to watch and listen to them but she is soooooo annoying.

Ricky, should not have been voted off. This is becoming like American Idol. The good ones get voted off too soon. They need to change the voting. They should limit it to 10 votes per source.

It's great to see Pia again, and it's great to see how much she's grown since Idol. Her song was more up tempo, and she was working the stage. I think she has some good people working with her, and that's letting her shine. She always had the talent and voice, but now she has more experience to back it all up.
