Woe betide anyone trying to cut ahead of Larry David in a line. He will call you out for it.

On 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' (Sun., 10PM ET on HBO) he berated a woman for doing a "chat and cut" in the line for the buffet table.

She'd managed to push ahead of him by chatting to the guy in front of him and then sidling into the line behind the guy.

Larry tapped her on the shoulder and congratulated her on her "excellent attempt at a 'chat and cut.'"

In fact, she was so good at it that if Larry -- a self-professed master of the chat and cut -- hadn't been behind her, then she would probably have gotten away with it.

After the woman's "mark" in the line admitted that he didn't really know her, Larry shooed the woman to the back of the line. However, she took advantage of their confrontation to simply join the line right behind him. A classic chat and cut in action.

This time all Larry could do was applaud her chutzpah. "I'm not even going to say anything right now. I respect your skills."
