Anyone who thinks that acting is all glitz and glamour should probably talk to actress Bryce Dallas Howard, who visited 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) to talk about her experience filming 'The Help' in Mississippi. Let's just say that things got ... messy.

"There was one day in particular -- in the shade it was 108 degrees and it was unbelievably humid," she explained, before going on to describe a very embarrassing problem that the director, visual team, costume designer and producers were all trying to figure out during filming.

"I was wearing silk pants ... I had so much crotch sweat, it looked like I had peed myself and took a huge crap," she revealed (in perhaps too vivid detail, even for Jay Leno). "I felt that it was really important to preserve the integrity of the heat and keep the crotch sweat in the movie!"

Who says actors don't suffer for their art?
