Hoda Kotb's boyfriend Jay knows the quickest way to a lady's heart, especially if that lady happens to host the fourth hour of 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC). The smooth talker appeared live on the air Tuesday to toast Hoda's 47th birthday with Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford. And he brought along a bottle of tequila in case the bubbly wasn't enough.

When Gifford asked how happy Jay was on Kotb's birthday, he said, "Pretty happy. Looking forward to 47 more." To start it off with a bang, Jay revealed his present and declared it "Tequila Tuesday." He came prepared with glasses. "We're not doing this," said Kotb. "My mom's watching. Stop."

Gifford thinks he's a keeper. "When I knew you were gonzo was when you said, 'No one's ever looked at me the way he does,'" she said. Kotb said he was probably just hungry. Or thirsty.
