Kathie Lee and Hoda Ask Their Moms About Plastic Surgery for Seniors (VIDEO)

We learned quite a bit about Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb's moms Joan Epstein and Sami Kotb on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), perhaps more than we ever wanted to know. The issue of the day was people getting plastic surgery late in life, things like breast implants and surgery to fix erectile dysfunction, and the hosts asked their moms what they thought about the trend.Still reading? Gifford asked her mom if she would ever consider plastic surgery, and she said no. Then Gifford told her that an 83-year-old woman just got breast implants, and asked if she'd consider that. "I don't need 'em," she said.
Then came the question Gifford couldn't get through without laughing. "What if a man who is having erectile problems," she said, and then stopped for a giggle break, "what about if he could get some relief from that by having some surgery? How would that be, Joanie?"
"I'm not against that," said Epstein, causing even more laughter. "That can be a terrible situation." Gifford mercifully ended the segment, saying that Joanie and Sami should have their own show. It might have to be on cable.
