For any aspiring rock god, the most important weapon in your arsenal is a killer instrument, and few instruments look more killer than the custom-made bass featured on last night's 'Dirty Money' (Tue., 10PM ET on Discovery).

The new series sees brothers (and entrepreneurs, of a kind) John and Jimmy DiResta turning other folks' trash into their treasure, customizing flea market finds and selling them at a profit.

Their Gene Simmons-inspired guitar is the first of many.

They buy an innocuous looking Fender for $50, fancy it up by giving it an intimidating buzz-saw makeover, and sell it at an $175 profit -- a trick that's sure to get tongues wagging.
