Ludo Kills a Buffalo and Eats Its Heart Raw on 'Ludo Bites America' (VIDEO)

'Ludo Bites America'French chef Ludo Lefebvre and his wife Krissy have been traveling across the US opening temporary pop-up restaurants, which offer high end food in unfamiliar locations.

'Ludo Bites America' (Tue., 9PM ET on SUND) follows the pair on their adventure, and this week found them in Denver.

!!!BLOOD AND GORE ALERT!!!

Where Ludo not only killed and then butchered a 1,200-lb buffalo, he also chowed down on its raw, warm -- possibly still-beating -- heart.

An emotional Ludo did this, he said, because he wanted to emulate Native American hunters who ate the buffalo's heart of an animal to give respect to the animal's spirit.

As we watched the chef take a big old bite and the blood just gushed out and ran down his hand, all we could say was: "Eeeeww." His wife admitted that it made her feel "sick to my stomach." We hear you, Krissy.

Fear not, animal lovers: The buffalo did not die in vain. Ludo used almost every part of it, in delicious-looking dishes that included buffalo tartare with parsley root.

This is not a "TV's Best Video Clip." This is disgusting. This guy would have made a lot more fans if he had been using his precious time on television trying to raise awareness for these animals, who's habitat and population has been almost wiped out in the wild, not killing and eating one. And as an "animal lover" I do fear... THAT THIS ANIMAL DIED IN AN ATTEMPT TO GENERATE VIEW WHICH TURN INTO MONEY THAT LINES THIS FREAK'S POCKET, even if he did use the whole animal to make "delicious-looking dishes like buffalo tartare..." HA! What a joke...

This story is disgusting to shoot a beautiful buffalo that was not charging and just looking at them is sickening. I don't know this individual nor would I want too. Why does AOL run horrible stories like this I don't know. The world is falling apart and this give this cretan 5 minutes of notoriety. far more important things are happening in the world than wasting spoace reporting disgusting stories.

N A S T Y I N H U M A I N C A N A B A L I S T I C Showing off for the camara this guy is a glutin for attention. And I am not impressed by his show of 1700s morals support for his ansesters rituals. He is mentaly sick. And after seeing that I bet he got phisically sick too. I hope he did.
