Rose McGowan Talks 'Alleged' Pot Brownie Incident on 'Chelsea Lately' (VIDEO)

by Laura Prudom, posted Aug 10th 2011 4:00AM
Rose McGowan on Chelsea LatelyWe've all heard the advice about baking cookies when selling your home to attract buyers with a "welcoming smell," but Rose McGowan apparently took a very different route when she had realtors and inspectors coming to visit.

When the actress stopped by 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights., 11PM ET on E!), Handler went straight for the goodies (so to speak), telling McGowan, "First I want to know about your pot brownie sale when you sold your house."

After the actress admitted that she'd never tried "edibles" before, McGowan's assistant seemingly took matters into her own hands and left a plate of questionable brownies on the counter on the morning of her realtor's visit.

"Four thirty in the afternoon I get a call from my realtor saying ... 'was there anything in those brownies?'" McGowan laughed, before deciding to cover her bases. "Please don't sue me, whoever you are, because it didn't really happen!"

Ever the good hostess, Handler helped her out: "It's all allegedly happened, it's not true, those are stories -- we make up stories on this show. And if you believe they're real then go **** yourself!"

That's one way to sell a house story, I guess.

As her Real Estate Agent, need I say it was a "special" surprise? She is a blast to work with!
