Matt Lauer Guest Stars on 'Royal Pains' (VIDEO)

We always appreciate it when TV personalities prove that they can laugh at themselves, and 'Today Show' host Matt Lauer certainly demonstrated that during his guest spot on 'Royal Pains' (Wed., 9PM ET on USA) this week.After Hank lied about getting them a spot on Lauer's show, Evan just so happened to run into the host at the grocery store and proceeded to try and convince him to give them a real shot.
Though Lauer was apparently on the hunt for "cowboy rub," he was prepared to hear Evan out, especially if it meant getting him out of a thrilling segment on turtles.
We don't know many celebrities who would be so tolerant during their grocery shopping, though -- don't try this at home, kids!
