Chelsea Handler has made no secret of her deep appreciation for country crooner Blake Shelton, so when Shelton's friend and sometime duet partner Trace Adkins dropped by 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!) the pair soon got around to talking about Handler's crush.

"I can't make my move 'cause I'm scared of that Miranda girl," Handler lamented, referencing Shelton's wife, singer Miranda Lambert.

"Me too," Adkins admitted. "Blake's scared of her too."

"She seems like she's rough and tumble," Handler observed. "He came to do the show last time and she was here, and she hadn't been here the first couple times he did the show, so I think she was like 'listen b****, watch yourself.'"

We can't blame Lambert for being possessive -- especially when we know how Handler's mind works ...
