Deleted Scene: Ryan and Tatum O'Neal Go Dancing on 'The O'Neals' Finale (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Aug 12th 2011 9:00AM
Tatum and Ryan O'NealRyan and Tatum O'Neal's rocky relationship has seen quite a few ups and downs over the years, and viewers have gotten more than a glimpse into the madness with 'Ryan and Tatum: The O'Neals,' their OWN docu-series.

Meant to repair their father-daughter bond and end their 25-year estrangement, the eight-hour run of 'The O'Neals' actually managed to have some heart along with the ongoing drama and re-hashing of arrests, addictions and betrayals.

So where will Ryan and Tatum end things in this weekend's finale (airs Sun., 10PM ET on OWN)? And is a true reconciliation really possible after so many years and so many issues?

Judging by this deleted scene, it looks like it. Instead of fighting or sitting in a therapy session, this finale sneak peek shows them bonding in a different way: at a Hollywood dance class. There's sweat, weird spoken word-style messages and plenty of arm flailing ... in short, it's kind of awesome.

Tatum needs to move on she always telling her dad to but she lives there I think more than dad. This boo hoo Tatum crap makes the show boring. I really liked the show know its POOR TATUM. Ryan is funny he admits he's done wrong(which he has) but either deal and move on or this show is going to tank.

Tatum is always telling her dad to move forward, but she lives in the past just as much as he does. They are both messed in the head but she is as bad as him. Both of them need to sh*t or get off the pot.Tatum needs to move on or this show just gets boring oh poor Tatum.

I have been watching the O'Neals show...at first I was thinking Tatum sure was being hard on her dad
but after a few episodes.I came to realize that Tatum has got a good reason to be angry. Her life wasn't what I had always envisioned.Looks like ol' "Dad" was livin the good life while his little girl ,Tatum was makin him look good.
Ryan O'Neal...you are a real piece of work. I was feelin sorry for you at first since you had recently been widowed.
I am also recently widowed and was feeling sympathy for you. I have learned something by watching the show. YOU Ryan O'Neal, my friend..deserve no sympathy from your children.YOU abandoned them for the good life and wanted nothing to tie you down.As for the violent way you have acted towards them and anyone that gets in your way...SHAME ON YOU! I hope you are able and worthy of a relationship with them but.I don't think it's possible.
Good luck and happiness to you Tatum..At this point,I wouldn't walk across the street to see the man with the BIG ego and temper. ALSO Tatum..I hope you make a mint on this new endeavor of exposing your "famous" old man.
