Chynna Phillips Joins 'Dancing With the Stars': Report
Chynna Phillips has reportedly joined the cast of 'Dancing With the Stars.' How long before she dances to the Wilson Phillips smash hit 'Hold On'?According to Perez Hilton, Phillips, daughter of The Mamas & the Papas' John and Michelle Phillips and wife to William Baldwin, will compete alongside rumored contestants Rob Kardashian, Queen Latifah, Snooki and Tiffani Thiessen.
'Dancing With the Stars' producers have been on the hunt to stock Season 13 with bigger name stars. As part of the rumored change, producers are reportedly offering stars complete control over the rehearsal schedules -- that means the stars have no minimum rehearsal requirements. Hello, trainwreck dances!
Phillips, one third of Wilson Phillips, is riding high on the wave of 'Bridesmaids.' The singing group made a surprise appearance in Kristen Wiig's critical and box office darling, playing themselves and singing during the finale.
Wilson Phillips revealed they were at work on a new reality project focusing on their 20-year reunion. "The show will be about our friendship and the music, and 20 years later the reunion, plus nine kids," Wendy Wilson told AOL Music.
The official 'Dancing With the Stars' cast will be announced live on Aug. 29 during ABC's 'The Bachelor Pad.' Season 13 premieres Mon., Sept. 19 at 8PM ET on ABC.
