Denis Leary talks 'Rescue Me' and 'The Amazing Spider-Man' on 'Access Hollywood Live'If this Denis Leary's interview on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC) is any indication, it's going to be pretty entertaining to watch him do press for the final season of 'Rescue Me,' and next year's 'The Amazing Spider-Man.' 'Rescue Me' ends with its series finale on September 6, but 'Spider-Man,' in which Leary plays Captain George Stacy, father of Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy, doesn't come out until next summer. Leary tried so hard not to give away details about either project to Billy Bush that the interview turned into a miniature stand-up bit.

After all, there could be a lot at stake for the actor and comedian. "I was like, boy, I'm strapping myself to this, you know, monster, because I could get like another three movies out of deal," he said. However, in the comics, George Stacy dies, something Bush brought up. "I am not allowed -- every time I open my mouth about this movie it ends up I get in trouble," said Leary. "So I'm not saying anything except Emma Stone's really beautiful and talented. Andrew Garfield is really talented is all I'm saying. Rhys Ifans is really talented. That's all I'm saying. And the movie comes out next July."

Leary said he wouldn't say anything more about the film or the end of 'Rescue Me.' He did start plugging 'Ice Age 4,' which is also out next summer. "'I might as well get an early plug in for that," he joked, successfully changing the subject. "I don't die in that one but Jennifer Lopez is my love interest in 'Ice Age 4.' How 'bout that?"
