This first season finale of 'Teen Wolf' (Mon., 10PM ET on MTV) could just as easily have been called 'Team Wolf.' Scott had his final face-off against the Alpha, but for the fortuitous arrival of his friends it might have ended very differently for him.

Kudos to Stiles for being the best comic relief, the cleverest guy in the room, and brave enough to face off against the Alpha. Who knew he had all that in him when we first met him three months ago? That said, we loved his reaction when the Alpha caught his fire bomb.

Luckily, he got an assist from Allison and then a back-up volley from Jackson of all people. Everyone coming together to face the "big bad." It's like a season finale of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' up in here!

We got a lot of closure this season, with the Alpha taking down Kate and thus exacting his revenge, and Derek getting his revenge on the Alpha. Now, the dynamic between Derek and Scott can change as Derek rises to become the new Alpha. Now it's more like Eric and Bill's relationship on 'True Blood.' These are good shows to find yourself getting compared to.
