Matt Passmore Discusses the Complex Relationships of 'The Glades' (VIDEO)

Matt Passmore of 'The Glades' on 'Good Day LA'Steve Edwards, anchor of 'Good Day LA' (weekdays, 9AM PT on Fox) is a big fan of 'The Glades.' In an interview on Wednesday, he told 'Glades' star Matt Passmore that he'd seen every episode of the show, and gushed about the characters and their relationships, especially the chemistry between Passmore's Jim Longworth and Kiele Sanchez's Callie Cargill.

Passmore said 'Glades' creator and writer Clifton Campbell had written the relationship between Longworth and Cargill to be complex. "Most television, especially procedurals, work on just a simmering tension," he said. "Ours isn't so much about tension but about obstacles. So already it's, you know, guy meets girl, guy finds out that girl is married to a guy in prison, has a child, and all the complexities that come with that."


The lynchpin for Edwards, though, is Passmore. "The plots are okay," he said to Passmore, "but it's all about you and how strangely attractive, charming, and conflicted you are." Passmore agreed that he is indeed all of those things.

Matt Passmore is a fine actor, and I would love to see him in a lot more. Also he is very good looking.
