Rose McGowan has sported some strange looks in movies before, but her role as Marique, the witch daughter of a warlord in the new 'Conan the Barbarian' movie is one of the strangest. McGowan told Kit Hoover about the film and Marique's bizarre look on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC).

McGowan, as Marique, has no discernable eyebrows and an enlarged forehead, which she called a "tenhead." "The studio asked if I would shave my eyebrows and my hairline back to here," she said, indicating a line several inches above her forehead. "And I thought, sure, if you give me five million dollars."

That didn't happen. Instead, McGowan said she sat in make-up from two to seven-thirty in the morning while a prosthetic was attached to her face and head. "I think she looks kind of majestic and amazing," she said. "It really freed me up to be as kind of weird as I wanted to be." By the looks of the clip, it worked.
