Christine O'Donnell Walks Out of Piers Morgan Interview (VIDEO)

Christine O'Donnell has a habit of getting attention for all the wrong reasons. During the Delaware Republican Senatorial primary in 2010, she famously released an ad clarifying that she wasn't a witch, and her candidacy quickly turned into a walking 'SNL' parody. O'Donnell made headlines again last night, when she abruptly walked off in the middle of an interview on CNN's 'Piers Morgan Tonight.'

O'Donnell was there to promote her book 'Troublemaker: Let's Do What It Takes to Make America Great Again,' and grew strangely offended when Morgan began to ask her about gay marriage and Don't Ask Don't Tell, issues she'd campaigned on in the past and wrote about in the book.

"Why are you being so weird about this?" Morgan asked.

"I'm not being weird, you're being a little rude," O'Donnell responded.



"Don't you think as a host, if I say this is what I want to talk about, this is what we should address?"

Morgan replied that he didn't think so. Then a bizarre scene unfolded as O'Donnell claimed she was being pulled away by her handlers, and CNN stuck with a duel-shot of O'Donnell pulling out her ear mic and Morgan grinning with bemusement.

Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and opinions, and Ms. O'Donnell has *every* right to *not* agree with gay marriage and the DADT issue without being called "weird". This joke of a man *IS* a rude jackass, and I'm glad that she refused to play his assinine little head games. Good for her.

I don't believe he was calling her weird. It was the situation of her not wanting to answer the question that he felt was weird. Especially after she stated that she was only interested in answering questions on topics mentioned in her book. Her opinion on gay marriages was a covered subject in her book. Don't agree to an "on air" interview if you're not willing to face questions of which you can't engage in a face-to-face real-time dialogue.

the problem with these "supposed independant" news programs like CNN is that they are in Obama camp. they report only what they want to report on (cherry picking items) about conservatives and hide the news about liberals and their media bias. i hope americans have finally woke up, and never vote a liberal (democrat and republican) in office again.

I do not agree that FOX is as bad as others. Yes FOX has opinion programs other than their Fox News but I generally find that they in fact do take a balanced approach inviting both sides to provide their point of view. I do find that generally during these debates the Left tends to smirk, interrupt, and generally come off as no one else has a valued opinion. It is very unfortunate or fortunate that we are seeing the type of uncivil behavior out of all hosts and guests. We are fortunate in that now more people are talking about the issues and as the Japanese Emperor said after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant. Well the sleeping giant is awakening and they call them the Tea Part y.

Yeah, they only report what Obama wants...that's why they spent so much time on the birth certificate "controversy", and the Shirley Sherrod incident (which of course turned out to be the result of misleading editing), and Jeremiah Wright, and Bill Ayers, and the ridiculous question of whether Obama's innocuous speech to schoolchildren was some sort of indoctrination, and on and on and on.

CNN and most of the media have a bias *toward conservatives*. If you doubt that, then tell me what stories they've devoted comparable time to which make conservatives look bad which have as little basis in reality as most of the stories I just listed. Or tell me why Republican phrases to describe health care reform such as "Obamacare" and "death panels" (the latter of which never bore the *slightest* relationship to anything actually in the bill) got so drilled into people's heads.

She made a mountain out of a molehill, though Piers was persistent. Big deal if he wanted to talk about gay marriage - if she hadn't made such a fuss, she could've parlayed her answers into being culturally relevant again. No one needs cultural warriors like her anyway - all they do is talk down to everyone that isn't them, regardless of whether or not they live their lives similarly. "Do things my way." "What I believe is how the world should be run."

Piers' first mistake was giving her air time because she just came out looking all the stronger to her supporters for "standing up for herself" and all the more idiotic to her non-supporters for not answering questions that she didn't want to answer, lest she show any ****** in her armor of her self-perceived "perfect" way of living and being American.
