Jon Stewart Makes Fun of Rick Santorum's Gay Marriage Analogies (VIDEO)

Rick Santorum has been on the campaign trail talking about gay marriage, and referencing the Defense of Marriage Act signed into law by President Clinton in 1996. On 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11:00PM ET on Comedy Central), Jon Stewart examined some of his analogies."I can call this napkin a paper towel, but it is a napkin," Santorum said in one speech. "Why? Because it is what it is."
Thirty minutes later, Stephen Colbert would be horrified to find out that napkins are apparently gay, but Stewart saw it as a slippery slope where we'd soon be using dogs to wipe our faces.
At another stop, Santorum switched his focus to a glass of water. "You can call it a glass of beer, but it's not a glass of beer. It's a glass of water," Santorum said.
Stewart's response? "As a Christian, you want to base your argument against gay marriage on the idea that water could never be turned into an alcoholic beverage."
