the show caught my eye as i was channel surfing but i think chelsea a very interesting person and it's a shame on how people judge because of the outside my advise to chelsea is to do you dont worry about what other people think it's all about the heart and what makes chelsea happy you know just please yourself that's all that matters my opinion your more than pretty you have that look with the swagger to go with it so keep your head up ma it's a plum pleasing pleasure as well as a privilege to watch your show

I think Chelsea is a VERY pretty girl and I love BBW. I would love to date her at the size and weight that she is at,or even bigger.She is definitely my type!

I really like what I'm seeing from this show so far! From the moment you meet Chelsea you can’t help bu root for her. I hope that MTV doesn’t take this show down the generic ‘weight loss reality show’ road, because it has potential - Chelsea has some depth, and I like how it focuses on her growth mentally just as much of her challenge of losing weight.

Other kudos= great theme song! (I love Ingrid Michaelson) and also I was really happy when I heard Molly Marlette's "Cause for Concern" in the premiere when she goes to the laundromat with her grandma. (watch the scene at http://vimeo.com/30751546 ).

I luv this girl,she motivates me,I'm not a size 2 and my husband luvs all that I am,but as for me,I'm not comfortable with my weight,she gives me the motivation to be what makes me happy,what everyone else thinks is irrelevant.

sure there are things that can screw up your metabolism but she got there the easy way- by eating herself there.

Wished I could watch this from the Phils. People who took steroids for early childhood asthma are known to gain weight as the steroids affect their liver's ability to process stuff. So, equating fat with laziness is plain ignorance. On the other hand, it doesn't excuse anyone to receive a free pass. And losing weight is not easy. I just have this feeling some people lacked some hugs growin up so when they see all the support thrown at overweight people, they get all negative. It's no different from cheering on a friend who is attempting to quit smoking. Quitting smoking and losing weight aren't just for cosmetic purposes; these are literally life-changing choices that should be supported.

I miss the days when being a pig was a bad thing.

I don`t care if people think she`s too fat or not pretty, i think she is BEATIFUL.
