Snooki and The Situation Argue Over Whether They Hooked Up or Not (VIDEO)

Who are we supposed to believe in this feud on 'Jersey Shore' (Thu., 10PM ET on MTV). When you're dealing with people of such impeccable integrity and character like Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, it's shocking to imagine either one of them lying about anything.The situation wasn't easy to read either. Mike was running around telling people that he and Nicole had hooked up two months prior, and when she found out about it, she flipped her lid. After all, she was with her current boyfriend at the time.
Now this could be interpreted two ways. Methinks she doth protest too much, meaning they did hook up, or she could just be freaking out because Mike is making something up that could ruin her relationship.
In the actual conversation, she wasn't quite as adamant in denying that anything had happened. She instead reverted to calling the situation embarrassing and cussing him out. In her confessional sequence she said nothing happened, but that was at a more rational moment after she'd had time to think things through and could figure out how to best manage damage control with the boyfriend.
It's hard to call, but based on their track record in general with hooking up with anything that looks like it might have a pulse, Nicole's lack of direct denial and Mike's cool assurances that it did happen, we're kind of leaning toward Mike being right. What do you think?
On another note, what the hell are you thinking Sammi and Ronnie? Getting back together? Do you not remember how volatile and crazy the two of you get when you're together? Is Italy really ready for this?
