Tricia Helfer Joins NBC's 'The Firm'

Tricia Helfer'Battlestar Galactica' star Tricia Helfer has joined the cast of 'The Firm.'

Helfer will recur on NBC's mid-season drama as Alex Clark, the senior partner at Kinross & Clark, the firm Mitch McDeere (Josh Lucas) joins as a partner. TVLine confirmed the news.

"Just signed a recurring role "Alex Clark" in NBC's 'The Firm' airing this winter," Helfer said on Twitter. "Will be working with some amazing talent - very excited!"

The series follows Mitch and his wife Abby (Molly Parker), 10 years after the film. They've moved to Washington, DC and are trying to start a new life. Juliette Lewis also stars as Tammy, Mitch's receptionist.

Aside from 'BSG,' Helfer has been busy on the guest star circuit, she recently popped up in an episode of 'Franklin & Bash.' Helfer also appeared in the pilot for Ron Moore's '17th Precinct.' NBC passed on the project.

Hopefully this will give Helfer a chance to once again show audiences what a talent she really is.
