'Glee Project' Winner Revealed (VIDEO)
After last week's twist non-elimination on 'The Glee Project' (Sun., 9PM ET on Oxygen), it was a final four competing for that seven-episode guest spot on 'Glee.' But the producers of this show know what 'Glee' is all about, and they made sure it was a fun-filled hour even while tension was high.!!SPOILER ALERT!!
The entire cast of 'The Glee Project' returned to provide emotional and moral support, as well as participate in both the Homework challenge and the video shoot. It was a great way to remember all those faces, and hope that maybe Ryan Murphy can find a way to at least give some of them a cameo in the upcoming season.
For their final performances, Alex came out in drag and proved himself a unique character the creators and producers could write for. Damian was once again likable and charming, and they liked that he seems to be an old soul in such a young body. Lindsay is making progress in breaking out of her own shell, while Samuel has that "It" factor, but is he the underdog we can cheer for?
Apparently, the producers thought he was, as Ryan Murphy announced him the winner. When Damian, who came in second, was genuinely happy for him and said he was deserving of it, Murphy shocked him by announcing that he had also won 'The Glee Project.'
Both of them would be getting seven-episode arcs in the upcoming season. But that wasn't all the love Murphy had to give. He then gave two-episode arcs to both Alex and Lindsay, essentially crowing all of them winners. After all, a two-episode arc can just as easily turn into something more as a seven-episode arc.
Does that mean he'll reach deeper into the pool of 'Glee Project' talent and find some other talent he wants to use on 'Glee.' I have a hard time thinking they're done trying to woo Cameron into coming on the show in some capacity.
He could fill that Christian role, and be genuinely committed to saving himself for marriage for any and every form of intimacy. That way Cameron doesn't have to get squeamish about maybe having to kiss a girl (and therefore cheat on his girlfriend!).
Are you satisfied with these results? Did everyone deserve to win?
