Drama Behind the Scenes on 'Good Christian Belles'

Good Christian BellesThe drama on ABC's new primetime soap 'Good Christian Belles' (aka 'G.C.B.') is seeping from in front of the camera to behind-the-scenes.

According to Deadline, executive producer Darren Star is at the center of a fallout. ABC Studios has barred Star from going to the set and his 'G.C.B.' office. In addition to being banned from the set, Star has been asked not to speak to writer and fellow executive producer Robert Harling and showrunners Aaron Harberts and Gretchen Berg.

However, Star continues to be involved with the series.

The 'Sex and the City' creator is still giving notes on scripts and cuts, but to the studio, not to the executive producers. Star is also in charge of marketing and publicity for the mid-season dramedy.

The arrangement is temporary, according to Deadline. Drama arose between former friends Star and Harling as early as the pilot, but Star was never supposed to be full-time on 'G.C.B.' He's still under a contract with HBO, his Goldie-Hawn-fronted comedy project is awaiting word on pilot production.

No word on how this may affect 'G.C.B.'

I guess all these Christians cant stand the heat. They want to dish out their bigotry and negativity to others , but when it turns on them they run and whine and moan. (read some of the comments if you dont think its true) So called Christians merely remember the parts of the Bible that re inforces what they want but ignore the parts that contradict their own actions.

This show was originally titled "Good Christians Bitches" (after the book it's based on) but the name was changed after a people protested the name. It has nothing to do with religion, church or Christianity at all. No religion is mocked.

I don't know what Christ you claim, but it sure isn't the JEWish Christ who died for ALL mankind. Better you not cointinue to fuel the fire of people calling Christians hypocrits and best if you talk to a Protestant minister who will lead you to true salvation. No spirit-filled Christian could channel Mel Gibson the way you do. Unless you aren't a Christian at all and are only doing this to damage Christianity's image. Either way, God will deal with you whether you believe in Him or not.

This is NOT a Christian show. It is a Christian-bashing show. Note the "Sex and the City" guy, and the fact that, albeit they are unusually covered, the women in the photo are posing seductively. (Yes, Christian women are seductive, but only toward our own husbands.)
Interesting how those who scream "tolerance" the loudest are the harshest abusers of Christians.

Good Christian Belles? Is this a joke? Who would watch this stupidity? Although come to think of it, morons abound. Proof? Jersey Shore is No. 1 on cable and ABC is in love with junk TV.

...I am sure this show is just another mockery of Christianity, to make all Christians look like hypocrites and dysfunctional. Can you even imagine a show called Good Muslims? .it would NEVER happen. Christianity is slammed these days more than any religion there is.
