Ben Flajnik is the Next 'Bachelor': Report

Ben FlajnikHe may have gotten rejected by Ashley, but Ben Flajnik has reportedly gotten a pretty sweet consolation prize: Becoming the next 'Bachelor.'

Life & Style reports Ben will suit up and hand out roses of his own when the ABC series returns. The 28-year-old Sonoma winemaker made it all the way to the finale, but lost out to J.P. Rosenbaum.

ABC has yet to confirm the news, but the show has a history of plucking contestants and making them stars of their own reality love search.

Ashley Hebert was rejected by Brad Womack on his second go-around on 'The Bachelor.' She was the second runner-up before headlining 'The Bachelorette.'

i think Ashley made a mistake not that j p isnt a nice guy but Ashley has alot of growning up to do and he is more mature than she is now Ben IS A HONEST guy i really think there was true love with Ben andAshley did lead him on so all i can say is good luck to the two of them and as for BEN i am glad he is going to be tthe bachelorgood luck Brad as the saying goes there is better fish in the sea to fall in love with

Ben was one of the most boring people ever on the show, so he was the natural choice to be the next bachelor. Yet stupid people like me without anything better to do will continue to watch.

He is not love by a lot of people because he has principals and he is a real man.

Will not watch Ben's season. He is a s dull as they come and acted shamefully when he was rejected by Ashley. Maybe if he got a haircut, i might watch... uh, no, never mind.

Not such a good choice. He didn't accept Ahsley's decision very welll at all. I thought his departure was rather arrogant...maybe the way he handles rejection, but I still think it was rude of him.

The Batchelor and Batchelorette are the stupidest shows ever on television. I have alot more to do with my time than to watch this kind of crap!!! It's so stupid when they tell each contestant, "Oh, I've never felt so in love with anyone before!!" Gag me!!!!
