Cedric the Entertainer Is a Singing Minister on 'Hot in Cleveland' (VIDEO)

Cedric the Entertainer, 'Hot in Cleveland'With Elka and Fred engaged on 'Hot in Cleveland' (Wed., 10PM ET on TV Land), they sought the services of a minister, and found Cedric the Entertainer. Meanwhile, the girls got Elka so worried about her wedding that she turned into the episode's title, a 'Bridezelka.'

She even sent Joy in her place to meet with the minister. After he complimented her hair, she immediately shouted, "I want to have sex with you!"

It was the name of a song he'd recorded before he received the calling into the ministry. This set up the first of two recreations of the song in this episode.

The first a duet between him and Joy, and the second him with all the girls performing the number for Elka and Fred. His hope was they'd let him perform it at their wedding.

"We'll stick with Sinatra," Elka deadpanned.

Elka's insecurities came from her having been so young at her first wedding. She wanted to create all this distraction in a lavish wedding so that Fred wouldn't notice she was old and no longer the young beauty she used to be.

What it really meant was a chance for Betty White to let loose her crazy and vicious side -- she even dropped and f-bomb -- as she hurled boquets and snapped orders at everyone, including one for Melanie to strip down in a store and try on her wedding dress for her.

While all this was going on, Victoria got a second product from the Japanese company she endorsed adult diapers for. This one was a sweat absorbing full body suit, allowing Wendie Malick one of the more outrageous storylines, which she seems to handle with comedic brilliance. The squeaking of the suit alone was enough to elicit snickers.

Hopefully, they follow up on this thread, and we get to see the commercial she makes for it. The first commercial was still one of the funnier moments in that first season.
