It was the battle of Kailie versus Kayla Wednesday on 'Toddlers & Tiaras' (Wednesdays, 10PM on TLC), two favorites who awkwardly gyrated suggestively to music to impress the judges, fans, and their adoring mothers. Only one could win the classy, understated title Ultimate Grand Supreme, while the other would have to settle for just regular old Grand Supreme.

If you asked judge Kirtsen Hancock, Kayla was the favorite. "Kayla is a crowd pleaser," she said. "She could do anything onstage and I think that the crowd would react because she loves what she's doing." Kailia's mom would beg to differ, seeing the work her daughter put into her dance routine. "Kailia has put her whole effort out to do all the little fancy footwork and she was polished up there for a four year old," she said. And Kailia was very focused on the "big trophy" and "big crown."

Kayla won the "grand supreme," but she wasn't happy about it. She started to scream, and neither money nor toys would stop it. Kailia won the Ultimate Grand Supreme, and her fan of money and crown nearly as tall as she was seemed to please her. Let that be a lesson to you, kids -- never be satisfied with second place, even if you get the same hat.
