Boredom Leads to a Pain Contest and Cat Tattoo on 'LA Ink' (VIDEO)

'LA Ink'It's important that people go out and get more tattoos. It will save the kind of boredom that leads to what we saw on 'LA Ink' (Thu., 10PM ET on TLC). If more people were in the shop keeping Michael busy with actual work, he might not have gotten roped into a "pain challenge" with Rooftop.

Over three rounds, Rooftop rather dominated poor Michael. Michael won round two, which saw him eat five peppers, only because Rooftop simply chose not to participate. He must have been that confident he would take the final paintball round.

For losing, Michael had to throw a dart at the big board of generic tattoo images and get that image inked on them. Of all the things, Michael hit a fluffy cat head. But true to his word, the image will now adorn his body for all of eternity.

tat's are great . the more the merrier, as they add a real insight into people and life. and, as on LA Ink (and NY & miami) there is always a spiritual or life enhancing reason to have it done . they really make women more beautiful, can't imagine spending money on laser treatments to ever have one removed ..

Hasn't anyone told you people "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" and AOL..get your headline straight...Mikey (who got the tattoo) is not a tattoo artist himself..he's Kat's brother and has a different job for the shop, and is part owner of an art gallery with her

I am sick of people bashing tattoos, only convicts and losers have them. Funny cause i have seen doctors,lawyers,fire fighter,cops,emt workers and the list goes of people that i have seen tattooed . Would to call them losers or junkies.Why don't you just get off your pedestal sorry were not such a high level genius like you

Tatts are going out os style....only the ignorant are having them as far as I can see. Most of these people who put them on their necks, shoulders, legs and arms puts them in the same realm as prison convicts, future prison convicts, street gangs, motorcycle gangs, trailer trash, the ignorant, junkies, and losers. And they are "dating" themselves. When their children's children grow up they'll ask "what the H-- were YOU thinking grandma/grandpa?"

Having tattoos is great for some people. It puts them in the same category as prison convicts, future prison convicts, street gangs, motorcycle gangs, trailer trash, the ignorant, junkies, and losers.

Your kids will think, " Wow, tats, only backwoods rednecks and crusty old people have them". Everything in life is a fad; from Religion to how one wears their pubic hair.
