HBO logoThe tenth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks is now just days away, and although the events of that dreadful day will forever be seared into the collective memories of those who lived through it, there are, it seems, some stories still untold.

HBO and 'Time' magazine have partnered to produce a documentary, airing for the first time on the tenth anniversary of the attacks, which tells some of those untold stories.

'Beyond 9/11: Portraits of Resilience' will premiere on Sept. 11 at 8:46AM ET, ten years to the minute that American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into World Trade Center One.

According to HBO, the documentary "highlights transcendent stories of courage, survival and remembrance."

The cable network says that "The film focuses on the previously untold stories, captured in words and images, of a group of men and women who led America, moved the nation and sacrificed for it, in the hours, days and months that followed Sept. 11, 2001."

In addition, HBO will also run previously aired documentaries 'In Memoriam: New York City 09/11/01' at 7:15AM ET and 'Telling Nicholas' at 10:30AM ET on Sept. 11.

'Nine Innings from Ground Zero,' the story of the post-9/11 World Series between the New York Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks, will air on Sept. 10 at 8AM ET.
