Should reality stars get stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? According to a report on 'Early' (weekdays, 7AM on CBS), it's not going to happen. That may make Pauly D unhappy, but the people interviewed for the segment around the Walk seemed fine with it. And Ana Martinez, the Walk of Fame's publicist, sounds pretty adamant about it.Somebody asked the question on the Walk of Fame's Facebook page, and were told "Hell to the no." 'Early' reported that people noticed the response, including reality stars. "The criteria for getting a star is longevity in the field of entertainment, of five years or more, awards - Emmys, Oscars, Grammys," said Martinez. "Philanthropic work that they do."
When asked if he was upset about that, 'Jersey Shore' star Pauly D said, "Yes. Really upset. That's something I always wanted." But a kid touring the Walk said, "They have nothing to really show. They have no real talent besides talking. And that doesn't earn a star." They'll have to be happy with the money and notoriety.
