Here's the scoop on Elise. She is an actress who was hired by Ramsey's production company Optomen Productions. She then received one on one training to improve her cooking skills before the show began taping. She was also given recipes to submit for each challenge and tasks to complete in order to sabotage dinner services. Futhermore she has been directed to continue her abrasiveness to insure ratings. The cameras have caught Elise crying and kept it in during the final edit in an attempt to show her human sensitivity, however her crying is due to her poor acting skills and the pressure of "keeping to the script." It's unfortunate that Chef Ramsey feels the need to include someone like Elise and test the intellegence of his viewers. Too late to make any changes now as the show is in the can.

Week after week, Ramsey allows that foul mouth, back stabbing, in-yo-face Elise to stay no matter how badly she screws up in the kitchen or throws other people under the bus. Every season there's one like her but this year the top she-devil made it to the final 5 after so many other qualified people, like Jamie, made one mistake and got the ax. This nuisance is the epitomy of the sterotypical black woman and is doing a terrible injustice to black women everywhere. Who would work with this piece of work after seeing her in action? Who in their right mind would hire her? Ratings, ratings, ratings keeping jokes like her around for drama. Won't be watching after this season.

Elise is the symbol of why some races look at loud mouth, non truth telling, wont take acceptance in life black women in a racial negative way. This is true for whites and all races who act this way. This excuse of pure garbage who sabotages for her own gain is no better than a thief . She is burning all the bridges that come to her to for potential jobs because this loud mouth verman is not going to win. "do you have a resume" Elise "yes watch me on Hells kitchen". Employer "no F*&king way, get out"

I agree with you Curiousalso. Ramsey is keeping Elise on the show because of the drama/ratings. Twice she sabotaged the cooking challenge: 1) when she couldn't count the pieces of lobster on top of the cappelini and 2) when she undercooked the apples.....and Ramsey made a fool of himself by not pointing this out....it also proves the "keep Elise on the show for the ratings" theory. It's a shame for all those who have been kicked off because of Elise's arrogance. The guys need to gang up on her, and maybe Ramsey will finally realize the truth. This is probably my last season watching this garbage.

Elise is the perfect reason that there are prejudiced people in this country. I thank God that she DOES not represent all Afro-Americans. I bet even Afro-Americans want to see her mouth shut once and for all

I will stop watching this show if Ramsey doesn't throw that big mouth liar Elise off next. Ramsey keeps her on just for the ratings. All who watch are waiting for her day to be sent home. If Ramsey prolongs it, the ratings goes up. Pity Ramsey behaves in this manner
