I love the diversity of the cast, and the fact that so many of the contestants have never danced before. I wish people would not focus on Chaz Bono as a transgender person. He is a man now...just as he was born to be. Good Luck to all of them!

Never been a hyper-fan of the show, but as long as Nancy Grace is on it, I will ABSOLUTELY never turn it on.

Miss the days of "I Love Lucy", "Jackie Gleason" and no-Reality TV. Have we lost the ability ton be entertained, by simple and good old comedy, instead of "voyeurism", into some truly disturbed individuals. Some reality shows that Nat Geo, History and Discovery, have, are about the only ones I watch anymore.

DWTS: I have no axe to grind with Chaz bono....His/Her life his/her preference, I just hate your lineups lately, used to luv the show now its boring and repetative....I will not watch again this year. But its not due to Chaz.......How about a season of past all stars from all the seasons seriously competing. Bring back all the top 4s and the one or two that were voted off way before their time. If you ever do that then I'll be glad to watch......

DWTS...Chastity Bono?? really......i know you'd sell your soul for ratings ABC, and obviously you have to push this line up and obvious agenda. There are sooo many other talented people that you could have booked...........I will not watch

P.S. I think it's great that Chaz is on the show and what he's done. What I support about his decision of lifestyle is that it's his life and his choice -and nobody elses business. They should be glad that they live a life that has had to deal with much less then him. If you don't like to be judged, then realize when you do it yourself!! Some of you should be ashamed of yourself.

Okay. I must be missing something here and clueless to what definies a "star". I honestly have only heard of four of these people before. I have no idea who the other 7 are.

Too bad the selection of amateur dancers do not inspire me. Other than the elite athletes and the professional dancers, this is a conglomeration of wanna bees. Shameful that society embraces reality show players as talent. Too many reality shows are vulgar, glamorize the wrong values and do absolutely nothing to raise the level of entertainment. DWTS needs to up their game and be a bit more sophisticated! Ballroom dancing represents a high level of class and elegance. The amateur dancers are incongruous to what I thought the show stands for. Len, you must be horrified!!
