Heidi Montag's Guests Nearly Ruin Soft Opening on 'Famous Food' (VIDEO)

Guess who's not going to win 'Famous Food' (Wed., 8PM ET on VH1)? With the finale next week, and the grand opening in this week's episode, this was the time to step it up and prove why you're the best celebrity business partner possible for this venture.

Heidi Montag didn't even begin to do that. Then, at the soft opening, her own friends and PR team made things worse by apparently "performing" for the camera. You have to think that most of Heidi's publicity in recent years has been negative, so that must be what her team cultivates and thinks works.

So they went into a very dramatic monologue about how horrific the food was, and yet no one else there was having such a problem. Then, when Heidi was confronted with this news, she simply denied the reality of it.

So to make amends, she agreed to go on 'Lopez Tonight' to help promote the restaurant, where she summarily got drunk on her own drink mix and forgot to mention it at all.

There's some negative publicity for you, Heidi's PR team. And let's put a bow on a completely useless performance by Ms. Heidi Montag this week on 'Famous Food' and call her totally and completely done.
