Jenn Blows Up at Laurel on 'The Challenge: Rivals' Reunion (VIDEO)

Because you demanded it -- Why would you do that? -- the cast of 'The Challenge: Rivals' (Wed., 10PM ET on MTV) was back for a reunion sit-down with Maria Menounos so they could yell at each other some more. Why has this become a staple of these reality shows?

We get that it's sometimes nice to see where things stand now, but these shows never really get into that. Instead, they rehash old beef and try to stir up drama to milk another week of ratings out of whatever reality hit spawned them.

Considering this season of 'The Challenge' had conflict built in to the 'Rivals' format, it was inevitable that some fighting would ensue, and Jenn was determined not to let the viewers down, so she lit into Laurel, who stayed calm and aloof throughout the whole encounter.

At one point she asked if maybe Jenn was drunk, and it certainly seemed possible. But quite frankly, neither young woman came out of the interview smelling like roses. It's one thing to stay above the fray, but Jenn wasn't off the mark when she said Laurel was presenting this air of superiority over the other people.

Next week, MTV tries to suck a little more out of this season with one of their patented 'The S*** They Should Have Shown' specials. Considering MTV is the one putting all of this together, how is that even possible. If MTV truly thought this was what they should have shown ... they would have shown it. Ah, marketing!
