Lake Bell Talks About Facial Acting During Sex Scenes (VIDEO)

There's a lot more going on in most movie sex scenes than ... well, what's obviously going on. On 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), Lake Bell talked about the added challenges of making sure those scenes work both in motion, and in the inevitable stills taken from them.

"You gotta make sure you're not pulling faces," she said. "'Cause I pull faces a lot. I'm like, Yeah look at me, I'm crazy!"

She instead suggested that actors and actresses need to "make sure you're kind of posing in your face a little." This is so the still shots will look flattering, though Chelsea Handler suggested that makes it even less like the real thing.

But this is Hollywood. We don't want to see the real deal, we want to see something magical and beautiful and maybe even impossible, so long as we believe in the story behind what's happening on the screen.
