Sex, drugs and rock and roll is an expression almost as old as rock music. For Steven Adler these things may be too interconnected for him to successfully tour with his band and find sobriety, as we saw on 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' (Sun., 9PM ET on VH1).

When Dr. Drew's Head Counselor, Bob Forrest, stopped in to check on Adler, he was disappointed to find the former Guns N' Roses drummer was still smoking marijuana, and apparently on a daily basis.

To emphasis the severity of Adler's addiction, Forrest asked, "Why couldn't you just not smoke pot for a day? That's what I want to point out to you. You knew I was coming here."

"I've taken it more into consideration that I see that it is something that I have to do," Adler was able to say, but he wasn't able to even suggest that he might stop completely. His addiction is so great that he could so easily slide into far more dangerous narcotics if he continues in his current lifestyle.

"I'm trying to grow up," the 46-year old said, but it's clearly not an easy road for him.
