'Glee' Season 3: Listen to Songs from the Premiere!

by Jean Bentley, posted Sep 16th 2011 12:10PM
GleeWith just days to go until McKinley High is back in session, the folks at 'Glee' have finally released the tunes from the Season 3 premiere episode.

So, what will Rachel, Finn, Kurt and the gang be singing when 'Glee' returns Tue., Sept. 20 at 8PM ET on Fox? We've already heard snippets of a 'We Got the Beat' cover in the promo, and that makes its way into the season opener.

Below, find out the rest of the songs from the 'Glee' Season 3 premiere.

Despite any missteps the show may have taken during Season 2, these bouncy, upbeat tracks actually have us excited for the new direction of New Directions.

The big group number appears to be 'You Can't Stop the Beat' from 'Hairspray,' while Kurt and Rachel duet on 'Ding Dong the Witch is Dead.' 'Glee' project runner-up Lindsay Pierce takes the lead on 'Anything Goes/Anything You Can Do,' while Blaine is featured on 'It's Not Unusual.'

You can hear most of the tunes over at the Glee the Music Facebook page, and 'You Can't Stop the Beat' at Entertainment Weekly.

Want to know more about the first episode? AOL TV caught the first episode at a special screening last night and got scoop on Season 3 straight from Ryan Murphy himself. Check it out.

Tell us: What do you think of the new tracks?
