Charlie Sheen Keeps It Classy as Emmys Presenter (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 18th 2011 9:10PM
After a year of making headlines for all the wrong reasons, Charlie Sheen kept it classy at the Emmys. He was a surprise presenter for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, and played his intro completely straight.

He wished the 'Two and a Half Men' the best in their upcoming season, and thanked them for letting him be a part of eight wonderful years of TV.

Sheen then presented the Emmy for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series to Jim Parsons of 'The Big Bang Theory.'

While he kept his Emmys routine joke-free and non-adversarial, Sheen's Comedy Central Roast will be going head-to-head with the 'Two and a Half Men' premiere on Monday night.

1. Anyone can pretend to be classy. 2. How many of you posters could call your boss the things CS did and still have your job? My guess is...NONE OF YOU! Quit whining that he's lost his job. He is as replaceable as you and I.

I do not understand why so many people "Hate" Charlie Sheen.
He was ans is a great comedian. From Top Gun spoof to 2.5 men, I see him as a great entertainer.
If he caused some harm to a TV producer and they have some dispute, it is their fking problem.
Why in hell should we care? Are you are worried about 2.5 men not being as good without Charlie.
Then you should beg him and that idiot producer to make him return.
If you think good riddance of Charlie Sheen, then be happy. WHY HATE??
Such hateful words for Charlie can only come from your own inherent evil from your own heart.
please consider this. Be happy. Charlie Sheen has now moved on. Please you too.

Looks like everybody hates Charlie, when he passed away in the show. It was not true in a previous one! Charlie Harper was a man with his bad-s and good-s, as everybody else on the planet. The jokes above Charlie's dead body were not funny, but sounded as jeering at him and taking revenge upon C.Sheen. You guys (creators) confused the reality and show, therefore, yesterday's 30 minutes were kind of wasting time and disappointment for me - too artificial ... I don't like what Mr.Sheen did, but I respect his regrets about it (everybody can fall down! Right?). Help him to get up, show how great you are in forgiveness, and you will get a super show of all times.

I FORGOT TO MENTION, FOR ME, AND I'M SURE FOR MANY OF HIS FANS, CHARLIE WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF AN OTHERWISE TERRIBLE SHOW.

EITHER HE FINALLY REALIZED HE WAS WAY OUT OF CONTROL, OR PEOPLE HE RESPECTS AND TRUSTS FINALLY GOT THROUGH TO HIM. REGARDLESS, IT WAS GREAT SEEING HIM AT THE EMMYS LOOKING AND SOUNDING GOOD. HOPEFULLY HE'LL BE BACK ON TV SOON IN A VEHICLE WORTHY OF HIS TALENT.
