'Mad Men' Emmy Winning Streak Continues
For the fourth year in a row, the AMC drama took home the Best Drama Emmy, and winning didn't appear to have gotten old for the show's ecstatic cast and producers.

Surrounded by dozens of producers, writers and cast members from the show, creator Matthew Weiner said, "Oh my goodness. I did not think that was going to happen."
"We are so grateful to the television academy for recognizing this show again, recognized by our peers. We want to thank the fans of the show, who supported it so wholeheartedly wherever it goes and whatever happens on it," Weiner said.
There have been some controversies in 'Mad Men's' recent past, notably Weiner's fraught job negotiations in the spring and AMC's decision not to air a season of the show in 2011. But the win for 'Mad Men' was much deserved; the show's fourth season was a high-water mark for Don Draper and company. We raise our glasses to the men and women of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.
Now the question is, next year, will 'Mad Men' match 'The West Wing's' streak? That show won five Best Drama Emmys in a row in its heyday. We wouldn't be surprised if 'Mad Men' gave Martin Sheen's White House a run for its money.
