Danny DeVito Brings 'Always Sunny's' Gutter Humor to 'The View' (VIDEO)

Danny DeVito is the elder statesman of the 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' cast, but that doesn't mean he's a beacon of maturity. DeVito stopped by 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC) where he talked about the new, depraved 'Sunny' season and gave some Joy and Sherri some equally crass advice on how to make a marriage work.To start the segment, they showed a clip from the 'Sunny' premiere, in which Frank asked a hooker to marry him, only to see her die of a crack overdose seconds later. "In the seven seasons we've been doing the show, we bring the bar down as low as we can. If you think you're in the gutter, we're gonna excavate that gutter. But we have a lot of fun," he said.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck then opened up a can of worms by asking DeVito if he had any wisdom on marriage he'd like to offer the 'The View's' two newlyweds, Sheppherd and Behar. DeVito couldn't help himself. "You can do sex all different kinds of ways," he said, channeling his 'Sunny' character Frank. "I mean, you can go this way, the front way, the back way, the side way ... you've gotta use a lot of oil, though." The entire panel and studio audience cracked up, possibly to avoid the mental image of DeVito in any of those positions.
