Ryan Murphy, Anne Hathaway GleeAnd so the Anne Hathaway wants to guest star on 'Glee' saga continues. This time, 'Glee' co-creator Ryan Murphy is the one speaking out.

Murphy responded to Hathaway's pleas to make TV magic happen by revealing to the world he and Hathaway will meet to discuss her ideas. Looks like Hathaway's very public "Call me, Ryan!" worked.

"I'm meeting with Anne in the next couple weeks," Murphy told MTV News on the Emmys red carpet. "We're not going to do guest stars at all the first half of the season, but I would love to work with her, and she supposedly has the whole thing mapped out. I'm curious as to what she wants to do. I love her. I think she's great."

Just so Murphy knows, he is doing guest stars during the first half of the season. 'The Glee Project' winners will show up and Idina Menzel returns to the series in Season 3, episode 2. Plus, he told AOL TV that Gwyneth Paltrow, a recent Emmy winner for her role on the show, "might" return. Just saying.

Viewers may recall Hathaway and Murphy had a meeting at the Golden Globes where the two discussed a guest gig.

"Ryan Murphy goes, 'Anne Hathaway! Come on 'Glee.' And I said, 'Yes!' and he said 'Fab, I'll call you,'" Hathaway told PopSugar.

After their encounter, Murphy told press Hathaway's guest role was a done deal.

"She created her own character, and we ran into her, and I said 'Really?' and she said 'Yes!' so we're going to do that," Murphy told E! Online back in January 2011. "We love her."

Hathaway wants to play Kurt's (Chris Colfer) aunt, but in August 2011 said she had yet to hear from the prolific TV creator.

"Ryan Murphy, I'm calling you out: I want to be on 'Glee.' I've got my songs picked out," Hathaway said.
